Meet the Cast
Sam Campbell (BRANDON, matinee performances)
is an actor, model, and musician, making his Fearless Fiction debut in Roomies 2. Sam began his acting career in voice over. While in training, he developed a love for other acting mediums and went on to participate in the SHINE conference held by AMTC. He was a part of the productions of Force Continuum and the world premier of Megastasis, put on by the Eclipse Theater Company. He also worked on Collaboraction Theater's world premier of A Blue Island In The Red Sea and participated with Erasing the Distance to help bring awareness to and erase the stigma behind mental illness. Sam is an accomplished musician who plays several instruments, including the piano and saxophone. And is a graduate of Iowa State University, where he received a Masters degree in Kinesiology. He would like to thank all of his family and friends for their support.
began her performance training in the award-winning Full Effect Entertainment Theatrical Dance Company where she toured and was featured in dramatic dance videos. A mother of two, she has recently delved into the fashion and hair industry. She thanks Dane A. Campbell for giving her a chance to play Tamra in Roomies and is grateful to be reprising the role in Roomies 2.
Jasmine Alexander (TAMRA, matinee productions)
is a fresh face straight from Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Jasmine began her passion for the stage at a very young age. Singing, dancing, and acting have always been her passion…it all started in the mirror. She’s thrilled to debut in her first role as Tamra in Roomies 2. She would like to thank Dane. A. Campbell and the Fearless Fiction team for inspiring her to follow her dreams.
Darrell Lee Brown (RANDY)
Darius White (SHONDELL)
is a Chicago native who’s excited to be a part of this Fearless Fiction Production. His recent work includes the stage play Back In The Day, the film September Rayne, the Adidas commercial: Here’s To the Takers, and the web series Exit. Father of two, and family oriented, Darius thanks Dane A. Campbell for the amazing opportunity in Roomies 2.
has been a member of the Fearless Fiction Productions family since its inception. Darrell will be returning as Randy, the standout comedic character from Dane A. Campbell's Low Hanging Fruit (August 2017) and the first installment of the hilarious stage comedy, Roomies (December 2017) Darrell has spent his entire life honing his broad range of talents including, but not limited to, acting, dancing, choreographing, singing, and speech. He is honored to play Randy for the 3rd time!
Morgan Wrigley (ZACHARY)
is an actor and model currently in his last year of study at Columbia College Chicago. He discovered his passion for acting on stage in grade school and hasn’t stopped since. At age 17, he began to travel to Boston frequently for film and modeling work and moved to Chicago to pursue an acting degree shortly after. Morgan is so excited to be working on Roomies 2! After recently finishing work on short films in New York and Chicago, Morgan is really looking forward to being back on stage.
Danielle Durbin (MARJORIE)
is originally from California and has braved the disrespectful weather to perform sketch comedy and theatre around Chicago for the last four years. After a little over a year of performing solely sketch comedy, she is very grateful to be coming back to theatre in this production as “Marjorie.”
Kailin Vannatter (MARJORIE, matinee performances)
graduated from Utah State University with a BFA in Theatre Performance. Her recent credits include Roomies, Ah! Wilderness by Eugene O’Neil, Candida, and Rabbit Hole. Originally from Arizona, Kailin made the leap to the Chicago area and spent the last year performing in The Second City’s Improvisation Conservatory. She wants to thank her family and friends for all their support and all those that continue to support the arts. Cheers!
Celease Brown (LAMONICA)
is an upcoming producer film. This creative spirit holds a B.A. in Digital Cinema and Interactive Media from DePauL University. She strives on finding new ways to engage her audience within comedy and satire. She has also produced a Sci-Fi thriller, Brown Wreck Loose (2016), and worked on many projects including documentaries and short videos. She is a dancer with Nunufatima African Dance Company and loves to play the flute.
Courtney Thompson (CLAUDETTE)
is so excited to be back onstage with Fearless Fiction for Roomies II! Courtney was last seen as Claudette Brightshine in 2017’s Roomies and her latest Chicago project was Clock Theater’s Six Views of a Room. Recent credits include: Charlotte/Clytemnestra (lead), Six Views of a Room (Clock Theater); Claudette Brightshine, Roomies (Fearless Fiction); Nora (lead), Jack Harris (Agency Theatre); u/s The Other Woman, Death of a Salesman (Redtwist Theatre); TAPPED: A Treasonous Musical Comedy (Forth Story Productions). Courtney has a BA in Theatre from Millikin University.
Leslie Marie Coffman (CLAUDETTE)
is so excited to be a part of her first play since graduating with a BFA from Oklahoma City University. She has most recently been seen in a few sketch comedy shows at Second City. She would like to thank everyone involved in giving her this opportunity to be a part of a wonderful piece of theatre.
Aaron Gunn (NORMAN)
Born and raised in Chicago, Aaron Gunn is an emerging singer, songwriter, actor, and dancer. As a teenager he began writing songs for local artists while accepting the role of a Principal Company Dancer in the world-known Full Effect Dance Theatre where he became its chief music producer. Under the artistic direction of Dane A Campbell, he traveled across the country on various tours that incorporated improv, filmed movies that FEETDCo produced, and became a major artery behind the scenes of the company’s local television show. He made his vocal breakthrough with his recording of "Low-Hanging Fruit Theme Song," where the music video went on to become a viral sensation on Facebook. His musical style comprises Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop. His lead role in the award-winning musical “Who’s Next” cemented his love for theater.
Thea Camara (MRS. MILES)
discovered her passion for acting at an early age. Camara has trained under the watchful eye of Susan Baton of Susan Batson Studio NYC, Michael McCracken of Vagabond, Jamal McNeil of L.A., Act 1 Studio, Columbia College, and she has a B.A. from Concordia University. Camara has appeared in Dick Wolf’s Chicago PD & Med, Spike Lee’s Chi-raq, Christopher Nolen’s London Mitchell’s Christmas & I Left My Girlfriend For Regina Jones, Walk Away From Love, For The Love Of Christmas and 72 Hours, and Kimberly Conner’s Jump In and Before I Do, which was an official selection at the 2017 Cannes Pan African Film Festival. Camara has worked with some of the best acting coaches in the business and is a highly sought after actor in Chicago.
Sierra Johnson (MRS. MILES, matinee shows)
started her acting journey under a year ago. She started out as a registered extra for multiple TV shows filmed here in Chicago. Roomies 2 is the second theatre production that Sierra is delighted to be a part of. She made her 1st official theatre debut in a recent Wheaton Drama Theatre Production, A Piece of My Heart as “Steele.” She excited to play Mrs. Miles and to be a part of this great cast of diverse storytellers.
David A. Walker (MR. MILES)
has been acting consistently since 2008. He got his first taste for the stage in his high school production of A Raisin in the Sun as “Walter Lee. He has appeared in several stage plays including, Immaculate Conception and Dane A. Campbell’s Grounds for Divorce with the Black Ensemble Theater. David has appeared in various films Karma (coming 2018) and Bobby where he portrayed a man battling early stages of dementia, written and directed by Cortez Mack. He played Detective Macklin in the short film Consequences, written and Directed by LaRita Smith, which won the Indie Spirit Award at the Windy City International Film Fest 2017. David recently wrapped his fifth film titled The Journey Of Unity (coming late fall) David is excited to be back as Luther Miles in Roomies 2. Brittnee Williams (PENELOPE)
enjoys acting and singing. Her passion is to mold her craft to bring each character, she is presented with, to life. She trains with Second city, taking acting and improv classes as well as Vagabond, studying under the founder Micheal McCracken. Brittnee has film, theater, and industrial debuts, but is honored to be given a chance to be a part of Roomies 2.
LaKeshia Bee (PENELOPE)
Hailing from Chicago, LaKeshia has been singing and acting since she was a child. She’s appeared on local television shows such as Case Files Chicago and CAN TV’s Full Circle TV Show. Receiving training at Northern Illinois University, LaKeshia appeared in various stage plays including School Daze. She’s also appeared in the hit stage plays The Love Triangles Trilogy, Last Night as King, and the musicals Cynderfella and a Bag Lady. In 2016, she had the pleasure of working on her first feature film Catfish Fillets 1 and 2 portraying “Wendy Love.” You can currently see LaKeshia in the film Pieces of David as “Vicky” as well as the Amazon series The G.
Reginald Shirley (ADONIS)
is an actor & director from Chicago, best known as “Twon” from the hit series The Reawakening. He also starred in The Avenue. He is looking forward to his theater debut in Roomies 2.
Anthony Howse (KERBY)
is a Chicago native who is ecstatic to be making his Fearless Fiction debut as “Kerby.” He is also an up-and-coming stand up comedian & an alumni of the iO Theater. He has also recently started his own production company, Team Benjamin, which produces stand-up, sketch, and improv shows in Chicago and Miami.
Andre Needham (DEVERTON
is a versatile Actor & Musician. Andre fluently speaks Jamaican Patois (born in Jamaica), and trained under Dane Campbell's Theater Ensemble at Rickover Naval Academy. Andre is known for "mashing up di stage,” when performing his music locally. He's looking forward to continuing his theatrical career.
Amariss Harris (JUDGE SHANKLIN)
is an actor, dancer, singer, and poet who is proud to be gracing another Chicago stage. Originally from Little Rock, AR, Amariss studied at the U of A at Little Rock and Jacksonville University for Theatre. Noelle Jones (JUDGE SHNKLIN, matinee shows)
After 25 years, Noelle returns to the stage. She performed in several plays during her youth and in college, including a starring role as “Aunt Mamie” in Judi Ann Mason’s A Star Ain’t Nothing but a Hole in Heaven. Denying her love of acting, she chose a teaching career instead. An educator, writer, and life coach, Noelle now returns to her art in her Fearless Fiction debut as “Judge Evelyn Shanklin” in Dane A. Campbell’s Roomies 2. Grateful for the opportunity to act again and honored to be a part of the Roomies 2 cast, Noelle begins a new adventure-- one long overdue.
Anthony L Rios (HECTOR)
is an actor/musician born and raised in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago. He began writing music at 13, and by 17 he knew how to produce beats as well as engineer and mix tracks. This led him to create his company Infinite Records. He's performed with the likes of Do or Die, Tony Touch, and more. Sticking to his love for the arts/entertainment he got a new fire within when he decided to pursue his passion for acting. He's done a commercial with Dwayne Wade, has been featured on many shows, but more prevalently, he plays on Fox's Empire as "Ant," (Shine’s Engineer). He is excited to reprise his role as “Hector” in the second installment of Roomies.
Christiana Reyes (STENOGRAPHER)
is thrilled to be joining the amazingly talented cast of Roomies 2. Chrissy’s was a theatrical dancer for many years within the Full Effect Theatrical Dance Company and Purifyied Entertainment and has starred in numerous high school plays such Evita and Anastasia. She has appeared in the films Dance Fu and April Fools, alongside main actor Dane A Campbell. Chrissy thanks Mr. Dane A. Campbell for encouraging and supporting her and allowing her to chase her longtime, but previously stifled, dream of acting.
Jason D. Morris (BAILIFF)
began his performance training in the award-winning Full Effect Entertainment Theatrical Dance Company where he toured and was featured in dramatic dance videos also as a Principal Company Officer. The last couple of years he was featured in the films Dance Fu, April fools, and Dhoom3, He thanks Dane A. Campbell for giving him a chance to be a part of this amazing show.
